Celebrating 30 Years of Great People. Great Products. Great Service.
Thirty years ago, the world experienced different types of amazing. We saw the Berlin Wall fall, Bette Midler flew to the top of the charts (thanks to the wind beneath her wings), and an emerging Japanese automotive brand began its journey to become the #1 car company in America.
Toyota launched its Lexus franchise in 1989, with Longo Lexus being one of the first established Lexus dealerships, and since 1990, has ranked as the Number One dealership for New Vehicle Sales within the Western United States.
Now, as Lexus and Longo celebrate 30 years of business, we continue our promise to deliver great service and great products to our guests.
The Japanese term kaizen is defined as ‘continuous improvement’, is a core principle of Toyota and Lexus’s management philosophy, and naturally, is an inherent fundamental of Longo Lexus and its parent company, Penske Motor Group. From our day-to-day work or providing a world-class facility for our guests and team members to do business in, finding ways to continuously improve ourselves is paramount.
In 1998, we decided it was time for a change, and Longo Lexus broke ground on a major renovation and expansion project. The front of the Sales building was upgraded, along with improvements to our underground showroom, which showcases the largest inventory of Lexus vehicles in the Western United States.
At Your Service
In 2006, we advanced the improvements to our Service Department, by expanding and remodeling it to reflect the Lexus brand of luxury and to further enhance the overall guest experience. The Service Department added an eye-catching floor-to-ceiling glass partition to allow our guests to watch as Lexus certified technicians work on their vehicle.
In 2017, Longo embarked on the first phase of a multi-year remodeling project by enhancing its Guest Service Lounge with modern furnishings and high-tech guest amenities. The second phase resumed in Fall 2018 and continues throughout 2019, coinciding with Longo’s 30th Anniversary celebration.
Investing In Our People
Longo has a talented team who share the company's commitment to a first-class environment that provides an exceptional guest experience.
In recognition of, and investment in its human capital, the company established Penske College, an in-house training and development center where team members can learn meaningful skills to help them advance their careers.
To promote the overall well-being of its staff, Longo offers an on-site Fitness Center, a full-time Wellness Coach and a comprehensive Wellness Program to all its team members.
Into the Future
With a forward-thinking strategy, a foundation set in service excellence and a teamwork attitude for success, Longo welcomes the opportunities of a dynamic and ever-changing automotive industry today and well into the future.
