The base engine is teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain which kicks out 295-hp with a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. This midsize SUV earns an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city. Optional performance features consist of all-wheel-drive, an F Sport package, and Drive Mode Select with Sport, Normal, and Eco driving modes. J.D. Power gives the 2019 RX an above-average predicted reliability rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Acura MDX

The MDX is equipped with a 3.5-liter direct injection V6 engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain. The engine produces 290-hp, has a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, and gets the same estimated 27 mpg highway and 20 mpg city as the RX 350. Idle stop technology comes standard, and an all-wheel drivetrain is optional. J.D. Power awards the 2019 MDX a 2 out of 5 predicted reliability rating.

This luxury utility vehicle has been designed to fit five to seven passengers comfortably. The available extended wheelbase provides a 50/50 split-folding third-row of seating plus you can opt for second-row captain’s chairs for added comfort.
