Smart Access With Push-Button Start/Stop
Getting into and starting up the NX 250 has never been easier. The vehicle unlocks when you have the key fob on your person as you approach it. Slipping inside, you can start the Lexus using the start button on your console as long as you have the key fob with you. You must close the door first and depress the brake pedal before you can activate the ignition system.
Interior Upholstery and Trim
Lexus uses NuLuxe to upholster the NX 250’s seats. This beautiful material has the look and feel of leather with unmatched durability. NuLuxe colors vary based on the vehicle configuration. However, every NX 250 features a contrasting Stippled Black interior trim on the dash, doors, and consoles. You can also upgrade to a Black Prism interior trim as part of an optional package.
Seating
The NX 250 seats up to five people in its spacious cabin. The driver’s seat has an eight-way power adjustment with two-way power lumbar support, and the front passenger seat has an eight-way power adjustment. However, you can also upgrade the driver’s seat by adding four-way lumbar support as an optional package.
The front seats come standard with heating. For additional comfort, you can add ventilation to the front seats, and you also have the option to add the Lexus Memory System. With Lexus Memory, you can save multiple driver settings for the driver’s seat, side mirrors, and steering wheel positions.
Thematic Ambient Illumination
You can personalize your NX 250’s cabin with this feature to fit your mood. Thematic ambient illumination was designed to stir your emotions and be reminiscent of nature. There are selectable themes such as Waterfall, Sunset, and Rainforest that reduce stress as they accompany you on your Los Angeles commute.
Climate Control System
Lexus equipped the NX 250 with a dual-zone climate control system that allows you and your front passenger to set different temperatures. The climate control system also has a smog detector, an interior air filter, and an automatic recirculation mode to ensure the air inside stays cool and clean. In addition, an optional fast-response interior heater can warm the cabin faster than traditional heating systems.
Steering Wheel
The steering wheel comes wrapped in leather, and you can mount all your audio, cruise, and infotainment controls to ensure efficient, intuitive operations. In addition, you have the option to add heating for a more refined experience.
Lexus’ Touch-Screen Interface
All the NX 250’s in-vehicle tech runs through the 9.8-inch multimedia touch screen with Lexus One Drive Connect and Cloud Navigation built in. The multimedia system also includes Destination Assist and an in-vehicle Intelligent Assistant that responds to your requests after speaking the activation words “Hey Lexus.” In addition, you can upgrade to a 14-inch multi-media touch-screen display as part of an optional package.
Connectivity Features
The NX 250 has Bluetooth technology and multiple USB ports in both rows to keep you and your passengers connected and charged. The cabin also has built-in Wi-Fi capability powered by AT&T. Lexus includes Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto systems so you can sync your smartphone. These systems let you access your favorite apps, stream playlists, make calls, send texts, and more. The voice command system enables you to do all these using intuitive voice commands.

Driver-Assist Technology
Every NX 250 comes equipped with Lexus Safety System 3.0, a suite of driver-assist systems that elevate your El Monte commute and keep you safe. The suite includes a backup camera system that projects a live video from behind your NX 250. You also get the All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management. This system enhances your standard cruise control by automatically slowing you down and speeding you up when you’re driving in traffic.
A Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Protection and Intersection Support works with radar and cameras to scan the way ahead for potential problems. For example, the system can detect cars that have stopped early or are turning across your path as well as pedestrians crossing the road. When the system identifies a possible collision, it alerts you with visual and audio cues. If you fail to react, the system engages automatic emergency brake support.
Lexus installed its Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist system to prevent you from straying from your lane. If the system detects an unintentional drift, it alerts you and can provide gentle steering correction to return you to your lane. In addition, a Lane Tracing Assist system uses similar tech to track your NX 250 within marked lanes and provide subtle steering input to keep you centered.
Another convenient technology in the suite is Road Sign Assist. This system identifies road signs such as speed limit, stop, yield, and more. Then, it projects the sign to your multimedia display for easy recognition.
The Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system gives you eyes where you usually can’t see. Sensors mounted on either side and behind your NX 250 scan for vehicles entering your blind spots. The system alerts you if you attempt a lane-changing maneuver with a car present. It works the same as you drive in reverse, scanning for cars or pedestrians crossing behind you. If you fail to respond to alerts, the system will automatically brake or steer you back into your lane.
