Performance
The 2018 GX 460 has a 4.6-liter V8 engine that churns out 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Lexus SUV has full-time all-wheel drive, a TORSEN limited-slip center differential, and Active Traction Control to give you control on any terrain or during inclement weather.
The GX 460 has a body-on-frame construction, making it capable of towing boats, trailers, and other recreational equipment. To ensure a safe trip, it comes with Trailer Sway Control, Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and Hill-Start Assist Control.
Regarding fuel economy, you can expect to get up to 15 MPG city, 18 MPG highway, and 16 MPG combined.
Comfort and Convenience
The most significant additions to the 2018 model are a redesigned backup camera (standard on all trims), the Premium Package, and the option for Ecru leather seating.
