Performance and Fuel Economy
The 2018 IS 300 with rear-wheel drive features a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission that makes 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, going from zero to 60 in 6.9 seconds. The same model with all-wheel drive has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 6-speed automatic transmission, making 260 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. It has a zero-to-60 time of 6.1 seconds.
The IS 350 has a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 311 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The IS 350 RWD has an 8-speed automatic transmission and goes from zero to 60 in 5.6 seconds, while the IS 350 AWD has a 6-speed automatic transmission and a zero-to-60 time of 5.7 seconds.
According to EPA estimates, the IS Turbo with RWD gets a combined 26 MPG, while the IS 350 RWD has a combined fuel economy of 23 MPG. IS AWD models get 22 MPG combined.
