The new third generation 2019 Lexus IS 300 features a longer wheelbase and wider track than its predecessors, providing increased body rigidity, resulting in greater agility and stability. Performance
A 2.0-liter turbo inline 4-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed sport direct-shift automatic RWD transmission powers the base model of the new 2019 Lexus IS 300. The turbocharged engine provides strong power and generates 241-hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. The estimated EPA rating is 30 mpg of highway driving and 21 mpg in the city. Available is a V6 engine equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission plus all-wheel drive, which provides improved traction and control.
Comfort & Technology
The new 2019 Lexus IS 300 includes several features to ensure that the driver and passengers are comfortable. The standard NuLuxe® seating material, simulated-leather upholstery, is attractive with a pleasing texture and generates far less CO2 emissions through its manufacturing process than other synthetic leathers. The optional heated and ventilated front seats provide optimum comfort along with the standard 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat and 8-way power adjustable front passenger’s seat. Lexus Enform Service Connect for remote access to vehicle information, Lexus Enform Remote to start your engine and unlock your doors, and Scout® GPS Link for real-time traffic information and directions, all come standard on the IS 300. A Mark Levinson® premium surround sound audio system with 15 speakers, 835-watts, and patented proprietary Clari Fi® technology are also available.
Safety
Security comes standard with Lexus Safety System+. This integrated suite of standard active safety equipment includes lane departure alert with lane keep assist as well as pre-collision with pedestrian detection. The 10-airbag system in the Lexus IS 300 and rigid body structure with crumple zones to help dissipate the force of a collision both come standard to help protect its passengers.
