Design and Features
The 2020 GX 460 has a new exterior style with a redesigned grille and new LED headlights. The interior sees new options with available red leather as well as additional wood and aluminum trims. The elegant cabin includes standard NuLuxe® trimmed seating, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, a power moonroof, and running boards for easier entry. For added versatility, the second-row seats have a 40/20/40 split capability, and the third-row seats can fold flat. Available are three-zone climate control, a semi-aniline leather-trimmed interior, and heated and ventilated front seats. Individually heated second-row captain’s chairs, as well as power-folding third-row seats, are optional.
Performance
A 4.6-liter V8 engine teamed with a six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission and a four-wheel drivetrain gives the GX 460 its power and generate 310-hp and 329 lb-ft of torque. Along with its off-road proficiency, the 2020 GX 460 has a towing capacity of 6,500 pounds. Standard is a kinetic dynamic suspension system that allows each wheel to move independently to better handle uneven terrain. An adaptive variable suspension, Crawl Control with five different settings, and Multi-Terrain Select with mud, sand, rock, and mogul driving modes are available.
Technology
The Lexus multimedia system comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display which has the ability to show three sections simultaneously. Also, Bluetooth® technology, voice command, Amazon Alexa compatibility, Siri® Eyes Free, four USB ports, SiriusXM® satellite radio, HD Radio™, and a 9-speaker audio system are included.
