Review: 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition
The first-ever 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition models have been produced in limited quantities, with just 50 vehicles coming to the United States and only 15 allocated specifically to the Western U.S. But you are in luck! If you’re ready to experience breathtaking acceleration and thrilling performance, Longo Lexus in El Monte has one waiting for you.

Design

This four-passenger coupe was designed with performance in mind. The exterior design is focused on channeling air to enhance performance with an aerodynamic front spoiler, optimized rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber rear wing. To help lower the vehicle’s center of gravity, the RC F Track Edition utilizes a carbon fiber hood, roof, front spoiler, and rocker-panel splitters. Other features include a newly designed grille which helps cool the brakes, titanium mufflers, ultra-light forged alloy wheels, Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 S tires for maximum grip, and red brake calipers with exclusive Brembo® carbon-ceramic brake discs.

Performance

Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with an 8-speed direct-shift transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and rear-wheel drive, the RC F Track Edition kicks out 472-hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. Launch control lets the driver hold the optimal rpm for launch which can be experienced when reaching a 0 – 60 mph acceleration in just 3.96 seconds or testing its top track speed of 168 mph.
Comfort and Convenience
Standard features consist of bolstered high-back sport seats, Circuit Red Alcantara® interior trim, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and 8-way front passenger’s seat, a thick-grip sport steering wheel, dual-zone climate controls, Wi-Fi hotspot, HomeLink® system, and a SmartAccess key fob. Heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, driver’s-seat memory, dynamic voice command, navigation, auto-dimming outside mirrors, and a power moonroof are available.
