What’s New

The exterior of the GX 460 is restyled with Lexus’ new hourglass-shaped grille, newly designed triple-beam LED headlamps and will offer an additional exterior paint color. A vibrant red leather will be added to the interior seating options along with all-new wood and aluminum trim alternatives. New packages will include an Off-Road package that adds a 360-degree camera, a fuel-tank protector, a transmission cooler, Crawl Control, and Multi-Terrain Select driving modes. The new Sport Design Package will bring gray wheels and exterior trim with matte-black exhaust tips. Also, previously optional safety technology will now become standard on the new GX 460. These safety features include pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and intelligent high beams.

Performance

The GX 460 is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine partnered with a six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission with a full-time four-wheel drivetrain. The V8 produces 301-hp and 329 lb-ft of torque and has the capability to tow up 6,500 pounds. An adaptive variable suspension, crawl control, multi-terrain driving modes, downhill assist control, and hill start assist control will be available.

Technology

The Lexus multimedia system will work with a standard 8.0-inch touch screen, Bluetooth®, Amazon Alexa integration, Siri® Eyes Free, SiriusXM® satellite radio, HD Radio™, front and rear USB ports, and a SmartAccess key fob. Optional features will include navigation with 3D city views, a premium Mark Levinson® sound system with seventeen speakers, and a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system.
