Performance
The 2019 Lexus UX is offered in six different trims: UX 200, UX 200 Luxury, UX 250h, UX 250h Luxury, UX 200 F Sport, and the UX 200h F Sport. The UX 200 comes with a 2.0L in-line 4-cylinder engine mated with a 10-speed direct shift continuously variable transmission that generates 160 horsepower. There are three standard drive modes: Sport for increased throttle response, Normal for an optimal balance of performance and fuel efficiency, and Eco that has fuel savings in mind. This all-new platform features a lower center of gravity for improved handling and was also voted best in class for its tight turning radius. Estimate EPA fuel ratings are 37 mpg highway and 29 mpg city.
Features & Technology
You will be comfortable driving with the standard 8-way power-adjustable front seats with two-way driver lumbar support. The Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 is active on all 2019 Lexus UX grades and offers a 7.0-inch color LCD multi-informational display and 6-speaker premium sound system. Apple CarPlay® compatibility and voice-activated Amazon Alexa come standard as well. Optional is a 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen display with 8-speakers. When you are packing your Lexus UX for a trip, you can use the available power rear door open/close function by waving your foot under the rear bumper in order to utilize the 21.7 cubic feet of cargo space.
Safety
Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, a 10-airbag system, and whiplash injury lessening front seats all ensure you’ll have the necessary equipment to help keep you safe on the road. Available safety features include blind spot monitors, intuitive parking assist with auto braking, and rear cross traffic braking.
